Your comfort is our priority
We loved our stay at the Hotel Chalet! We stayed in one of the train cars and had so much fun. The decor of both the hotel room and the hotel itself were perfectly done and very classy. From the minute we checked in with Ainsley, we knew we were going to have a wonderful weekend. She was very kind and made sure the explain everything the hotel had to offer. We also met Dian who made sure to ask us how our stay was going and if there was anything she could do to make it better every time we saw her. It was nice having someone recognize you and know they would go above and beyond to make sure your stay was the best it could be. We ate an early dinner at Elsie’s Daughter one of the nights and were blown away by the service and quality of the food and drinks. We both got an aperol spritz and some appetizers to share and everything was delicious. The flash fried brussel sprouts were a favorite. Our server Phillip was amazing and gave us some recommendations on some of his favorite things on the menu. I highly highly recommend Hotel Chalet and can’t wait to go back the next time we’re in Chattanooga.
A lovely hotel stay for our anniversary and birthday celebration! The train car rooms are renovated in a beautiful and well-thought-out concept, we loved it. All the details of the pool, pool bar, lobby and parking were a nice touch. However, I would have to say the service from Dian and the concierge desk was the icing on the cake. They ensured that our stay was extra special! The beds were comfortable, the room amenities were top-notch and very clean, and the location was perfect; it was within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. We will be back again after such a wonderful experience.
We had a staycation at the Hotel Chalet and it was a fantastic experience! The hotel itself is like walking onto set of a Wes Anderson film, so well done. Our room was spacious and quiet! We loved the walking distance to everything the Southside has to offer. Every staff member we encountered was great. Especially Dian, she's a bench mark for hospitality.
The aesthetics of this hotel are amazing inside and out. Very unique, wonderfully decorated, we are in love with everything about how this hotel looks, very clean - there are just things that weren't great. First, the room is damp - cold and clammy. The air, carpet, sheets all feel moist. I think an update is needed to their hvac system to remove more moisture from the air. It wasn't completely awful, but noticeable and probably would ask to move rooms if we were staying more than one night if they have rooms with better a/c control. The second is the mattresses - 3 out of the 4 of us found the mattresses to be very uncomfortable, and they hurt our backs. I would probably give this hotel 3 1/2 stars because of the poor quality of matresses, if that were an option. Lumpy and squishy. I could only stay here again if I knew that they had updated their beds. The on site restaurant looks nice, but nothing really to cater to vegetarians. The neighborhood is great though, and plenty of restaurant within walking distance that do have vegetarian options. Cute outdoor patio outside our room.
